What to Know About Twin Bridges State Park
Twin Bridges State Park is as far north as you can go on Grand Lake and still be on the lake. Located at the confluence of the Neosho and Spring Rivers near Wyandotte, this park offers a unique launch experience with river and lake access.
Two concrete ramps serve the park, which also has camping, picnic areas, and clean restrooms. The water here is shallower and more river-like than the main lake body, making it ideal for kayaks, canoes, and shallow-draft fishing boats. Jon boats are king in this area.
The fishing is different up here too β think channel catfish, flatheads, and smallmouth bass rather than the largemouth tournament scene down south. It's a more relaxed, old-school fishing experience. The park itself is beautiful, with mature trees and scenic river views.
