This public ramp off S 579 Loop is one of Grand Lake's hidden gems — and by hidden, we mean literally hard to find. The gravel turnoff is easy to miss from the road, and there's minimal signage. But locals who know it use it regularly.
The single concrete ramp is basic but serviceable. Parking is a small gravel area that fits maybe 8-10 trailers. No facilities of any kind. It's a get-in-get-out kind of launch.
The location is east of Grove with good access to the main lake. Best for experienced boaters who know the area and don't need hand-holding. If you pass a locked gate, you've gone too far.
