Miami City View Park Ramp sits at the far upper end of Grand Lake, where the lake transitions into the Neosho River. This is a different world from the main-lake ramps — quieter water, less boat traffic, and a more relaxed atmosphere.

The single concrete ramp is maintained by the City of Miami and has restrooms on site. Parking is adequate for the light traffic this area sees. The water here is shallower and more stained than the clear main lake, which means different fishing — think catfish, drum, and river-run species.

The town of Miami (pronounced My-AM-uh by locals — never Miami like Florida) is worth exploring, with the Coleman Theatre and a revitalized downtown. This ramp is a good option if you're staying in the Miami/Vinita area.
