Rocky Fork Lake is a 2,080-acre reservoir in Highland County, surrounded by Rocky Fork State Park. The lake offers solid fishing for saugeye, largemouth bass, and crappie in a scenic southern Ohio setting. The wooded hillsides and clean water make Rocky Fork one of the more attractive fishing destinations in the region.

Saugeye stocking by the ODNR keeps the predator fishery strong, and anglers catch quality fish by trolling the main lake and jigging points near the dam. Largemouth bass relate to the rocky shoreline, docks, and submerged brush, with the coves in the upper lake being especially productive during spring. Crappie fishing around brush piles and standing timber produces good catches from March through May.

Rocky Fork State Park offers a full-service campground, swimming beach, and multiple boat ramps. The North Shore Marina provides boat rental and supplies. The lake's location in southern Ohio's rolling hill country provides a quieter, more rural fishing experience compared to the busier lakes near the major metro areas.
