About Don Pedro Reservoir
Don Pedro Reservoir is a large foothill reservoir on the Tuolumne River in the Sierra Nevada foothills east of Modesto. The lake's diverse habitat includes rocky points, submerged timber, and deep creek channels that support an outstanding multi-species fishery.
All three bass species thrive here, with spotted bass being the most abundant. The lake also supports excellent kokanee and king salmon fishing in open water. Spring and fall are prime fishing seasons, though the lower elevation location keeps the lake productive year-round.
